Emerald City Comic-Con 2010

After two and a half years of work, The Serpent Whispered, Issue #1 "...Already in Progress" made its physical debut at the annual Emerald City Comic-Con on March 13th & 14th, 2010.  Fifteen issues were made to be handed to publishers, editors, professional peers, and friends.  Nine issues were printed in-house, and six issues were printed locally by our friend Jim Beaver, who gets much thanks for the last minute save.  After printing, each issue was hand-cut, folded, and bound.  The book received an overwhelmingly positive response by everyone who saw it at the convention.  Most issues landed in the hands of editors of publishers who were very surprised, and pleased with what they saw in the few moments of time we had to give them copies.

Now a whole new phase of work begins in our saga as we gear up for the actual publication of Issue #1 "...Already in Progress".  Many people at the convention asked where they could get a copy and unfortunately we were limited to the few that were already spoken for and were not able to accommodate requests at that time.  To those people we apologize, but would like you to know that more are on the way!  The first printing will be done independently and will be available for order in the coming couple months.  More information on this will follow soon.  In the meantime if you have any questions about the book, please write to us at theserpentwhispered@gmail.com.  For questions regarding our respective individual works please see the links with our names on the blog homepage.

We had a blast at ECCC this year, made some amazing friends, and solid contacts.  As we look ahead to the coming year, we are especially excited to be bringing you the first issue of what we promise to be an amazing, epic adventure, The Serpent Whispered.
